The Scope of Application

1) Waterproofing of roofing works of industrial and civil buildings, including conventional and special roofing works such as non-superposed roofs, superposed roofs, insulated roofs, non-insulated roofs, planted roofs, car parks, inverted roofs, etc.

2) Waterproofing and moisture-proofing of underground works of industrial and civil buildings, as well as waterproofing of indoor swimming pools and fire-fighting pools.

3) Waterproofing of municipal works such as subways, tunnels, bridge decks of concrete pavements, sewage treatment plants, landfills, etc.

4) Waterproofing of water conservancy facilities such as drains and pools.

Product Specification

Types are divided into polyester tire (PY), glass fiber tire (G), and glass fiber reinforced polyester felt (PYG) according to the tire base.According to the upper surface isolation material, it is divided into polyethylene film (PE), fine sand (S), and mineral granules (M).According to physical and mechanical properties, it is divided into Type I and Type II.Conventional specifications: Nominal width of the coil is 1 m. Thickness: 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm.

Precautionary Note

1) The coil can be constructed by the hot melt method, cold bonding method, or by a combination of both (i.e., large areas with cold bonding method and lap joints with hot melt method).

2) Hot melt method: Use a flame gun or torch to heat the bottom surface of the coil and the base surface until the asphalt melts. While heating, push the coil forward and press it with a roller so that it bonds firmly with the substrate or the adjacent coil.

3) Cold bonding method: First, evenly brush adhesive on the substrate and the coil. After slightly cooling and drying, paste the coil and then roll with a pressure roller to expel the air beneath, ensuring the coil is flat, close, and firmly bonded to the substrate.

Packaging, Transport and Storage

1) When storing and transporting, different types and specifications of products should be stored separately and should not be mixed.

2) Avoid sunshine and rain, and ensure proper ventilation.

3) The storage temperature should be between 5–45 °C.

4) During transport, the products should be stored in a single layer and not more than two layers.

5) Prevent tilting or horizontal pressure during transportation, and cover with tarpaulin if necessary.

Under normal storage and transport conditions, the storage period is one year from the date of production.
